Linings

There is a choice of linings, you can either have standard or blackout lining, both ivory. There is also the option of having interlining which is placed in between the face fabric and chosen lining. Interlining is recommended if you want the blind to slightly thicker, it also offers more insulation.

Headrails

All the headrails used are child safe, chain release tracks, whereby if 6kg or more is applied to the chain it will release from the track/cog wheel, whilst keeping the cog wheel intact. There are also child safety toggles on the bottom rod of each blind at the back, so again, if pressure is applied to the cords they will just pop out of the toggles. This is also the reason why knots cannot be tied at the bottom of these toggles to comply with safety regs.

How They are Made

All the roman blinds are fully handmade using traditional methods with no machine stitching showing along the front of the blind and are completely hand finished. No extra cost for this!.

The rod pockets on the back of the blinds are made into the lining - no roman blind tape.

Choice of Chains

All headrails come with a satin nickel chain, but can be swapped for either chrome/shiny brass/antique brass or white at a small extra cost.
